Aubrey Peeples
Aubrey Peeples is an American actress and singer. She is best remembered for her performance as Layla Grant, in Nashville (2012) drama as well as Claudia Shepard from Sharknado (2013). She also played the character of Jerrica Jem for the movie Jem and the Holograms. Aubrey Peeples grew up in Lake Mary Florida by parents Wendy and Ashley. She has a younger sister Ally. When she was growing up, Aubrey was a part of her school's Orlando Repertory Theatre for ten years. Aubrey graduated from Lake Mary Preparatory School where she was the valedictory speaker for the class of 2012. Harvard University had accepted her. However, they agreed to her admission twice in order to allow her to play the part of Nashville. Peeples played in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally and Ally Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) and NecessaryRoughness (1991) as guest star. She was in the made-for TV films Ace Ventura Jr.: Pet Detective (2009) and The Good Mother. She was one of the main characters for the Nashville series, in which she appeared as Layla Grant. Peeples talked about her bipolar condition in an interview for NKD Magazine. Indiewire included Peeples among the top actors under twenty years old of age in September 2014.
