Alana De La Garza has established herself as a household name on the television. De La Garza's parents were from Ireland and Mexico. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on December 26, 1976. Soon enough she was relocating to Texas where she began pursuing a physical therapy career in the University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas into Orlando, Florida and was involved in a wide range of actor roles. This included local independent films as well as global commercials. Despite her small roles, De La Garza rapidly discovered her love of acting. In 2001, she emigrated in New York where her first appearance was on the All My Children's soap opera as Rosa Santos. Throughout the early 2000s she was a small part on JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she got her first major series role on the short-lived show The Mountain. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV stars such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Mitch Pileggi. Her most memorable role took place in the year 2006 on Law & Order where she was A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared in 85 episodes. She then migrated to the short-lived spinoff Law & Order: LA. De La Garza was nominated for numerous Awards, including the Best Supporting Actress on TV from the Imagen Foundation Awards as well being nominated for several ALMA Award nominations. In 2008, she was awarded a Impact Award for Outstanding Performance in a Dramatic Television Series from the National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza was then chosen to play a regular actor on CSI Miami. She appeared as Marisol Deko as the spouse of David Caruso's persona Horatio Caine. Her most recent work on TV was with NBC's rather dark drama Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. The show lasted for two seasons before it was put on hold. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. The actress is Italian and is the younger sibling of Cory. Her family was the strictest and most religious family. Milano started her acting career at seven when her babysitter was with her on an audition to act. Milano was one of the four girls chosen from more than 1,000 aspirants. Milano has appeared in TV advertisements, off-Broadway productions and her role in the American first-ever premiere of Jane Eyre.
